Ships in two parts: Your GridLok™ frame ships now with a premium coloured cardboard cover (the Yona Bed 2.0 finish), so you can sleep on it right away. Your boucle cloud cover and bedhead arrive in late August - the cover slips over the frame and the bedhead attaches to the back.

What makes the Yona Cloud Bed different?

The Yona Cloud Bed is built on the same patent-pending GridLok™ frame as the Yona Bed 2.0. What's different is everything you see and touch.

Premium boucle upholstery: The full frame is wrapped in soft, tactile fabric. The kind of finish you'd find on a high end $2,000 bed.

Removable, washable cover: Slips off in under five minutes. Machine-wash it. Swap colourways down the line. Replace it years from now without buying the whole bed.

Outside: Premium boucle-style upholstery in 100% polyester. Soft, stain-treated, fade-resistant, and certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 - independently tested for harmful substances.

Inside: Engineered corrugated cardboard, 99% recycled fibres, sourced from sustainable Australian forestry. 100% recyclable at end of life.

Bedhead: High-density foam, also OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, wrapped in the same 100% polyester cover as the frame.

Why does the cover & bedhead ship later than the frame?

The boucle cloud cover is brand new, is made bespoke for your GridLok™ frame, and is currently in production.

Rather than make you wait for the whole bed, we ship the frame immediately so you have something to sleep on right away. Your cover follows in late August, when manufacturing is complete.

Can I really set it up in 15 minutes?

Yes. The 4 quarters click together with our GridLok™ system, the boucle cover pulls on like a fitted sheet, and the matching headboard attaches smoothly and effortlessly. That's it. No tools, no hardware bag, no allen keys to lose. One person can do it solo.

Cardboard interior? Really?

Really. Our patent-pending GridLok™ grid distributes weight across an interlocked network - engineered to hold 3,000kg. Stronger than most wooden or steel frames on the market. We've tested it with situations we can't print on this page.

What about moisture and spills?

The boucle cover is stain-treated and removable. For anything serious, take the cover off, wash it and put it back on.

We use high grade premium cardboard on our interior, rendering it completely moisture resistant.

And if anything does go wrong due to weather or humidity, it would be covered under our comprehensive 5 year warranty!

What mattresses does it work with?

All of them - foam, spring, hybrid, latex. If you're on a specialty or oversized mattress and want to double-check, message us on live chat before you order.

What if I don't love it?

You can return it within 30 nights for a full refund, no questions asked.

I looked for ages similar beds that were all aroudn $1k. This one feels just as premium but was a fraction of the price. The boucle fabric is beautiful but I did notice a small tear when unpacking. I reached out to Yona's customer service and they handled sending out a new part fast though. If you dread assembling furniture, you should def get this bed. It’s literally foolproof. I had it fully set up in under 30 mins all by myself, and it’s rock solid.
