I purchased my Yona bed base a few weeks ago and honestly I’m amazed, totally stunned. It’s stable like you actually can’t even tell the bed base is cardboard. It is super comfortable. It looks great aswell!! We purchased the dark brown. The price point is great like why would you pay some insane amount of money for a big chunky bed base again when they’re difficult to put together the slates on the base are flimsy or break. Love my Yona and it’s great that it’s recyclable too! We will definitely be buying another! Thank you so much for creating this, it’s genius!
I was looking for a queen bed base and couldn't find a black base that I liked as it had to match my existing furniture. I came across Yona during my Google search. I was sceptical about the quality and the time it would take me to set up. Plus, I was worried about the black colouring rubbing off onto the carpet. I read the reviews and they all seamed really positive, so I thought let's give them a go. Then, if it doesn't work out I've only lost a small amount of money. I can honestly say this is a fantastic bed base. Not only is it solid as a rock (you can't feel the other person getting in and out of the bed), it really did only take 20 minutes to set up by myself. I've now had this base for a month and I can't fault it. It holds its sturdy shape and the colour doesn't rub off onto the carpet, even after I moved it after the original set up. Plus, it's easy enough to spin and flip your matress on-top to make your matress last. All I can say is don't hesitate and buy the base. You will be very happy with it.
The Yona bed is so easy to set up and looks great overall.
One thing I didn’t take into consideration when buying this was the airflow for my mattress. My mattress gets very warm during summer on this bed base and I didn’t have this issue with my previous bad base which had an open bottom for airflow.
Besides that it’s still a great bed base and I would recommend for others who don’t run hot like I do.
It was for my son. Being a single mother who rents a home it has had made moving and setting up the bedroom so much easier. It's sturdy and I love the colour (Forrest green) will be looking at getting myself one and bedside tables. To top it off the price was very reasonable and i love its easy to dispose of once finished and better for the environment. Love it, I would and have highly recommend.
I’m 375 pounds and I got the queen size - took two people to put together — but almost 3 months later, this thing is still supporting me. A little pricey for a piece of cardboard but depending on how long it lasts — I’d say it’s well worth it.
my partner and I just moved to the US and were looking for an affordable & solid and sustainable bed. The bed is easy to assemble, doesn't smell like carton/paper at all, easy to clean/maintain, strong and solid for a King-size matress plus 2 people. I can highly recommend the bed.
I was honestly skeptical and nervous but this has been an amazing experience its extremely sturdy and comfortable there's no issues to report! Never again will i use a cheap metal bedframe

So far it's so good! I needed a solution when the bar in my platform bed decided to quit on me. The Yona bed fit perfectly inside my queen sized bed frame. Saved me way more money than if I had to replace the entire frame and I dare say it's even more comfy now.

Was abit skeptical as a larger person I was not sure it would support my weight. However having used it for a decent length of time it’s very solid and I believe the weight rating on the website.
The idea of truly sustainable living appeals to me greatly.
If the need were to arise I need to buy another or recommend it to a close friend I would.
A little tricky to install (a two person job) but otherwise much easier & quicker than installing of a traditional bed frame. Strong and supportive.
