I ordered a second because I liked the first so much.
i bought my Yona 2.0 Bed almost 2 months ago. the customer service is beyond what i expected, i was talking to a human, one on one, on a Sunday evening. Prior to purchasing. and then when i received the bed, it was delivered in good time. all the feedbacks saying that their bed took forever to be delivered. that i am sure has nothing to do with the company, and everything to do with the local postage service.
then next thing, i was super impressed, that on a Saturday afternoon, i noticed i had lost the instructions. and within 3 minutes, i was again online with a human, getting the online link for the printable instructions for my bed. another wonderful customer service experience.
now for the bed..
you would never think after making it, and placing the king sized mattress on top, that it is made from cardboard. it feels just like any other bed would. and is just as sturdy and stable in my opinion. it is actually more comfortable to sleep on than what my last bed base was, and that was an ensemble base made for a king bed.
i have had better more comfortable nights with this Yona 2.0 Bed Base, than i have in the last 3 years from my old bed base.
i highly recommend everyone thinking about getting one of these, to just give it a go.. what is there to loose? Nothing.. but there Is Plenty To Gain...
Was just what I wanted for a temporary bed for guests. Took a little time to firgure out how it went together, but once I got the hang of the assemble process the bed went together quickly.
The bed is sturdy. It was easy to put together but with two people. Love it
Easy set up, so stable and comfortable. We have concrete floors and still doesn’t move. Have recommended to friends who have purchased and agreed
Happy with my bed base. Easy to assemble. Quick delivery. Communication from company was excellent.
I thought that the first yona design was good enough at first but it soon started to go all wonky. It was a super king and the 2 sections didn't lock together. Plus we have young children who fiddled with it constantly.
Version 2 is fantastic. It's much neater and there's nothing for kids to fiddle with. It can also easily be put together by one person (version 1 was an accordion style which kept deforming). This time we got 2 king singles (can be lashed together using jute strap and buckles from Bunnings) which works well enough with a super king mattress.
It's also much nicer for your floor because the weight is distributed over a wider area (although the lack of storage space can be a drawback). And it's easy to slide it around especially on a wood floor.
Easy to assemble and sturdy to boot. Makes me want to deck my house out with more sustainable cardboard designs.
Easy to assemble and solid to sleep on! Great for our spare room!
I’m really happy with the Yona bed. It’s easy to set up and great value — I didn’t want to spend a lot for a guest room we don’t use often, but I also didn’t want something cheap and squeaky like the budget IKEA frames. This one feels sturdy and doesn’t have that “too cheap” vibe. I also love that if we need to move furniture around, we can get it out of the room without a complicated disassembly process. If we ever upgrade to a nicer wooden frame later, it would be easy to move on as well.
We bought a Scandi bed for our son. He's over 6ft tall and has autism. He has broken a number of timber beds running and jumping on them. The slats snap. The Scandi bed has been great, solid, light weight and works well.
really sturdy and cute and makes NO noise (iykyk) . my only complaints are i couldn’t get the color i wanted because of a preorder delay, there’s a slight gap in one part, and the included video instructions were for the older version. a video would’ve aided me, but eventually i got the hang of the printed instructions.
We really appreciate the review!
Glad to hear your bed’s serving you well (we definitely get the 'iykyk' part 😄). Apologies about your color choice - we didn't realise how popular this new design would be and demand caught us off guard. Fortunately, we have all colors back in stock now.
And I agree with your instructions feedback. So much so that we've since added video instructions for the Yona Bed 2.0 to guide you alongside the printed instructions.
Thanks again for your support 🙏

Absolutely love it! I knew it was going to work, my partner had doubts—we broke up after that argument, but I’m sleeping great!!
The frame gives my room a calmer look, and it feels planted once the mattress is on. I also like that I can take it down without turning my place into a hardware store 😅
Love the design, super simple and modern. I hate setting up furniture so I wish they had a service where someone could set it up for me. But once is set it up, it was great great 🙂
Honestly shocked how strong this bed is. Doesn’t move, doesn’t squeak, and actually looks really nice in the room.
I put this together completely on my own in under 20 minutes. Much faster than the 5 hrs it took me to set up my old Ikea bed. The Scandi finish looks so clean and it feels rock solid.
Didn’t think cardboard could look this good. Friends were surprised when I told them what it’s made from - they all thought it was nice wood
My old wooden bed creaked like crazy. This one is silent and feels more supportive somehow. Really happy with it!
I was worried it’d be fiddly, but it clicked together cleanly. Haven’t heard any shifting at night.
Looks great from every angle, and it’s more supportive than my old slat setup. Highly recommend
My previous frame made noise every time I turned over - this one stays quiet. Setup was straightforward, and kinda fun as well :)
