I needed a new bedframe after my cute (but very cheap and poor quality) wooden one didn't survive a 3rd move. It wobbled when I rolled over in my sleep, which woke me up. I'm also plus-sized and didn't dare try....anything else on it, for fear of the legs snapping like toothpicks. Finally, I had had enough and took the legs off of it. I looked and looked for a good, extremely sturdy bedframe with a high weight limit and found almost nothing in my price range, except for a bedframe that cost less than $200, was made out of cardboard, and said it had a 6,100-pound weight limit. Surely, I thought to myself, this is some kind of internet scam where the bed arrives and it's like a dog bed or a picture of a bed or something.
After sleeping on a mattress on the floor for like 4 months, drowning in decision fatigue, knowing that I spent way too much money on new bike this year and didn't really want to spend $1,500 on bed frame, I finally decided to give it a go.
This bedframe rocks. It took me less than 30 minutes to put together by myself. It's STUPID sturdy. I've jumped on it. I've shown it to friends and we ALL jumped on it. I can flop down dramatically like a woman in a rom com after a long day at work. My only regret is that I didn't buy a headboard, but I think I'm gonna do that soon anyway. The dark brown color just looks like wood.
This bed is so versatile. I'm using it as my main bed, but if you wanted to break it down into 4 pieces for a guest room/storage situation, you could easily do so. I've also recommended it in a few plus-size groups I'm in - this is the most cost-effective bed frame I've ever seen that actually works for larger bodies!
Thanks, Yona. You guys rock.
Switched from my old bulky leather frame to this, and wow it totally changed my room energy. It's light, comfy & solid.
Very easy and satisfying to set up, and super sturdy! No annoying creaking or groaning when you move
Looks great in my room, fast delivery, and easy to put together. Hope it lasts as long as the company promises
Was extremely skeptical about the cardboard structure. Like extremely. Went down a whole rabbit hole of research on the web and reddit. The free 30 night trial convinced me to make the plunge and I'm not dissapointed. This is rock solid - very happy with my purchase.
I put my Yona bed 2.0 in my tiny studio apartment. Set it up by myself in about 25 minutes (I was taking my time and enjoying the satisfying feeling of putting it together). I love how quiet it is, even when there's lots of movement in the bed ;)
The design is gorgeous and the eco angle is a bonus. Took me a a bit of time to work out the instructions but once I got the hang of it, I was flying.
But it’s actually super sturdy especially for something this lightweight. Took 20 mins to assemble with my hubby
It was a little harder to get set up than I had hoped, but the instructions were clear and I managed it OK. It proved to be the perfect guest bed and it is now very easily packed away for next time.
Looks so calm & simple. Like something straight from a design magazine 😍
Medium difficulty to assemble. Sturdy once assembled. Looks nice in the room and does not look like obvious cardboard.
I have a daughter who has asd and adhd and she has broken soooo many beds but with this bed it is still going strong after a month of her sleeping on it. ( she has usually broken metal beds, wooden beds within a day of putting it up)
Absolutely love the minimal look and it was so quick to assemble. Very impressed with the strength too
This has worked for us in a narrow space perfectly. We have used the entire width of the base. My son says it is so comfortable and he is so happy
Easy to assemble with 2 people fits perfectly to my mattress and very supportive, thankyou Yona
I've had my yona for 2 weeks already and it feels rock solid
As a 69 y old I found the instruction sheet hard to follow and got miserably stuck with it. My daughter called in to help and put it together in a flash. Very happy with it!
It's all true, can handle rediculas weight, I glomp hard onto it every night, does not move unless you want it to and Verry supportive, easy to setup and pack away I am blown away I highly highly highly recommend!
Impressed with the idea of a cardboard bed-head. Easy to assemble.
