How to set up your Long Single Yona bed
Our Long Single bed is super simple to set up. It’ll be a piece of cake!
Step 1
Take your bed out of the box, and lie it along the head of the bed.
Step 2
Grab the cardboard that’s closest to you, and stretch it out!
You should stretch it until it’s as long as your Long Single mattress (that’s 203cm).
If you have a partner with you, they can hold the end of the bed that’s on the wall as you pull it out, so you can stretch it out without moving the bed off the wall.
Having trouble getting it to stay still? Does it keep springing back?
Push through 💪🏽 The next couple of steps help to keep it stretched out.
Step 3
On each side of the bed, connect the flaps using the hooks.
You will need to first push the flaps inwards, towards the bed, and then hook them together. You can see this process in the video above.
Just remember to be gentle, as you don’t want the flaps to fray in case you want to pack up & move the bed later on.
Instead of just forcing the hooks together and fraying them in the process, you should be slightly lifting the upper hook and gently placing it above the lower hook. This will keep the hook secure, and prevent fraying.
Once completed, the interconnected flaps should look like this:

Still having trouble getting it to stay still? Does it keep springing back?
After being couped up in a box for a little, our pieces might need some time to stretch out. Put each half on it's side as shown here and leave it for 5-10 minutes before giving it another go.
Step 4
(Gently) place your mattress on top of the bed! This step may be easier with a partner, depending on how heavy your mattress is.
Do some final adjusting if you need to, tucking in the bed if it's sticking out.

Bravo on getting through those instructions! If that felt more like a walk in the park, then let's spice things up a tad - here's a riddle that'll give you a light mental jog.
I walk one mile North, one mile East and one mile South. I am now where I started.
Easy question: Where am I?
Harder question: Where else could I be?
