How to set up your King Single Yona bedhead
Our King Single bedhead is really easy to set up - there are no tools required! Also, in case you were wondering, we recommend setting up the bedhead before the bed - it should make the process easier. Ready? Let's go!
What's in the box?
- 6 x sleeves
- 12 x toppers
Step 1
The long sleeves will arrive flattened, and they can sometimes be a little stiff. Grab one, and carefully open it up!
It doesn't need to stay completely open, the next steps will take care of that. You just need to loosen it up a bit.
Step 2
Take one of the smaller toppers, open it up, and fold down the sides
Step 3
Insert the topper into the main sleeve. We make them tight on purpose, so this may take a little wiggling – take your time with it.
Step 4
Flip the sleeve over, stretch out another topper, and insert it into the other end. Now your sleeve will hold its shape and stay secure!
Step 5
Open up another sleeve and fit a topper onto the top and bottom (steps 1-4 above), so you have two identical sleeves.
Step 6
On one side of the sleeve, you will see 3 tabs, with thumbholes waiting to be 'punched out'.
The hooks are different sizes, so keep the largest hook at the bottom (this will make the next steps easier).
Then use the thumbhole, and gently pull out each tab.
Step 7
Now we are going to connect your two sleeves.
Line up the 3 tabs you just pulled out with the corresponding holes in your second sleeve.
Starting with the biggest tab at the bottom, gently hook the tabs into the holes. They should slot in, and then the sleeves will sit flush next to one another.
Step 8
On the other side of the sleeves, there is now a similar process to above. There are two tabs with thumbholes to be 'punched out.
Starting with the bigger tab at the top, slot each tab into its corresponding hole.
Step 9
Keep on going! Just repeat the above steps until you have completed your bedhead.
Just be careful with the two sleeves at each end of the bedhead. You may not want to punch out the thumbholes on the outside ends, as those sleeves don't connect to anything - you might prefer the tabs to be less visible as the end of those pieces can be seen.
Step 10 (If you're also setting up a Yona Bed)
Once your bedhead is all set up, you can set up your Yona bed by following these instructions, and push the bed right up against the bedhead.
They don’t attach in any way - but don’t worry, they won’t move.
